The Leechmonger may be the most disgusting boss in all of Demon’s Souls history. It’s a collection of leeches that has taken on a soul and is now hell-bent on killing everything that comes near it.

This is not a nice boss to fight. In this guide, we’ll be covering the best way to defeat this boss, including some tips for various types of builds.

Before You Fight

leechmonger boss fight

As you head into this battle, there are some important things that might help you out.

First, if you’ve got a melee build, then slap some Turpentine or Sticky White Stuff on your sword or weapon. You could also use the Dragon Long Sword +3, which is particularly powerful against this boss.

For ranged builds, you can use the Lava Bow or Compound Long Bow +3, both of which will greatly assist you.

Finally, for a magic build, you need Firestorm. This move destroys the boss and will do so in a few seconds. (https://bellarinova.com/) Fire Spray is also very good against the boss.

If you’ve specialized in Soul Ray, then equip all the items that will boost that move to the max. you should have a few of them at this point.

Strategy

There are two things that are going to help you with this boss. The first is distance. You can maintain this by standing on the uppermost level. There’s also a cave within the area that’s good for taking cover in.

With the right bow, you can kill this boss from the entrance. It’s a surefire way to kill it, but it’ll take you the longest amount of time.

Attacks and Tactics

leechmonger

Sweep

There are a few moves to look out for with this hulking mess of leeches. The first is the Sweep. This move sees the boss sweep both fist shapes in a circular motion in front of it. It’ll alternate between left to right and right to left, and it’ll do that a couple of times before it’s finished.

To avoid this attack, you need to dodge roll to the opposite side of where that fist shape is going.

For example, if the fist is coming at you from the left, dodge into it. The frames in the dodge will help you avoid taking any damage. You then need to do the same as the fist shape comes back the other way.

Berserker Attack

Next on the moves list is the Berserker Attack. The Leechmonger will raise its fist/arm shapes and batter the ground around it. This sees it slamming all around the place, causing havoc wherever a fist shape lands.

While this attack can be blocked, it’s going to knock you down regardless. The best thing to do when you see this coming is to dodge backward and get away from the boss. It’s going to have a small tantrum, so let it play out before you run in and get some damage in.

Heal

The third attack this boss will perform is actually a Heal move. It will draw all of the leeches around it into it. This creates an orb of leeches around its midsection.

The orb should glow. After a short time, the boss will begin to heal a decent chunk of health.

You need to attack the blob of leeches and kill them. Get them off of the Leechmonger as quickly as possible. This will prevent them from healing the boss, and make it possible for you to prevent the move altogether.

Leechballs

The final attack is lovingly named Leechballs. This move sees the boss curl inwards and then release six large balls of leeches. These will all be thrown out in random directions.

If you’re hit by one, it’ll slow you right down for a chunk of time. While this is happening, the leeches in the ball will also be dealing damage to you. Small amounts over time.

To avoid this, dodge. You want to get away from these Leechballs as much as you can. Getting hit could cost you the fight.

If you head down the valley and out of the way, the boss will have a lot of trouble hitting you. This attack is the only one you should outright run away from instead of trying to dodge. It’s never worth the risk.

Lore

lore

As you would expect, the lore behind this boss is disgusting. The Leechmonger is a mass of blood-sucking leeches.

The demon’s soul within has brought them together to be the seething mass of limbs and death that you fight. The boss lives in a pool of scum, waiting for any unsuspecting people to walk by so that it can emerge and consume them. When they do, it rises up, takes form, and attacks.

The enemy never needs to leave its disgusting home. There’s always another potential meal just around the corner.

Closing Notes

As far as bosses in Demon’s Souls go, this is one of the more interesting. It’s a giant mass of leeches, but it’s also a very intriguing creature overall. clearly, enough people have passed by it and been defeated that it has grown fat off of their body and souls.

The more it consumes, the larger it becomes. It’s almost like it’s been the tipping point for so many before you.

Any enemy that lurks in scummy water is up to no good. This one lurks unformed though. It’s able to hide in plain sight. You could walk by the water and never suspect it’s there.

There are bosses like the Old Monk that are also nothing much to look at until they animate. These bosses are possibly the worst in terms of surprises.

There’s nothing more terrifying than walking into an area and believing you’re safe. Bosses always ruin this perception, and they usually do it in the worst way.

It doesn’t help that the arenas they live in are often geared towards helping them kill you either.

There are so many secrets in The Last Of Us Part 2. The game is huge, despite being quite linear in many ways. Like all survival horror games, these secrets will help you as you progress further in the story. They’re not essential, but they definitely make life easier for everyone. The only trouble is the danger that you often come up against while finding them or the puzzles you have to solve to get them. In this The Last Of Us Part 2 thrift store safe guide, I’ll cover the safe’s location, and the cod solution so you can open it straight away.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Thrift Store Safe Location

Let’s start with where this safe is. First you need to be on Capitol Hill. This is the area after where you use bricks to disarm trip mines as Ellie. You need to follow the street to the left-hand side, then move around the back of the building. The door is there, but you need to watch out for the trip mine that’s been anchored to the door.

Once inside, move to the back room, and the safe is there. It’s in the left-hand side, and there’s a Clicker guarding it. Be ready for that.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Thrift Store Safe Code Location

Now let’s look at where the code is for this safe. There are a few hints to help you out, but I’ll include the code as it is lower down in the article as well.

The first hint is on the noticeboard. There’s a note pinned to it. Interacting with the note reveals the final 2 digits of the code, but the note states that it’s 6 digits long. It adds that the code is also the number of someone called Staci.

the second hint is in the bathroom. Head in there and look at the wall. There’a a number written on the wall. It’s even got Staci’s name above it. This is the number you need to use to open the safe.

The combination is: 55-01-33

Your reward for opening the safe is a Long Gun Holster. This will allow you to carry one additional Long Gun. This means that you could equip both the Rifle and the Shotgun at once, providing you’ve got them both at this point in the game.

It’s a powerful item that will make every encounter you come up against in the future a little easier. Being able to quickly swap between long range weapons is a fantastic ability, and you unlock it very early here.

As for whether this item is worth the detour and the time it takes to get it, I’d say it definitely is. There are enemies nearby, but they’re not much to contend with compared to what you’ll face later on. (https://www.stgeorge-inn.com/) Having this Long Gun Holster is only going to make your life easier, and it really isn’t that far out of your way.

Let us know in the comments if you picked this item up in your last playthrough.

Among the bosses in Demon’s Souls, the Storm King may be the most unique. While it’s true that they’re all unique in their own ways, this one presents players with a new challenge. It may even be one that they’ve never faced up until this point. In this guide, we’ll show you how to kill the boss in a couple of different ways. We’ll also tell you a little about the lore, and how to work around certain attacks.

General Knowledge

When you first enter the arena where the Storm King is, you’ll notice loads of flying Storm Beasts. As you get closer to them, they’ll begin attacking you. What you need to do now is run to the left of the outstretched cliff.

You’re going over here because there’s a weapon called the Storm Ruler which you need. Grab it and run back towards where you entered. You need to find a safe zone where attacks can’t hit you.

If you use the Thief’s Ring, the enemies will only attack you when you’re close. This is a good tactic to avoid taking unnecessary damage.

With Storm Ruler equipped, you need to start attacking the Storm Beasts. Do this from the safe zones and you shouldn’t take too much damage. Dodge and roll to avoid any incoming hits.

To the Left

If you keep to the left of the area, where you picked up Storm Ruler, you’re less likely to get hit. The Storm Beasts find it incredibly difficult to attack you here, so it’s worth doing this.

This is also the area where the boss will fly over first. He does some big massive swoops, and these are how you will hit him. Keep using Storm Ruler to get in hits when you can.

Kill the Storm Beasts

While you can get a few hits in on the boss before he starts flying overhead, you need to take out most of the Storm Beasts before he’ll be in range. You can wield Storm Ruler with two hands to increase the damage it deals. When there are around four Storm Beasts left, the boss will fly closer to the ground.

Attack

The boss has a single attack that he’ll use against you. He fires a barrage of stingers at you. Use the pillars and surrounding area as a defense from these. If you’re away from cover, you have to dodge and roll over to it until you’re finally covered.

Tactic

Since the only real way to kill this boss is the same for every build, this tactic applies to everyone.

As the boss approaches and attacks, hide behind some cover. Once the attack is over, you should be able to get between three and four good hits in on the boss. Make sure you lock onto him to get those hits attacking him and dealing damage.

You need to alternate between the five segments of this boss when attacking. There are three points along his body that you can hit, and then his two wings separately. Alternate as you need to with dealing damage. Just be aware that you’ll be doing this.

Don’t get too cocky with your hits. If the boss has taken three and looks like it’s about to get you, hide. There’s no sense in staying out of cover and taking damage if you really don’t have to.

For ranged players, you could use the Lava Bow as an alternative weapon. Magic users could use Soul Ray. Both will do about the same amount of damage, and end the fight at around the same point. If you’ve geared your character towards either of these specializations, then that might be the better bet.

Lore

The Storm King is an oversized Storm Beast. Its multi-spear attack will hone in on its target wherever it is, which is what makes it such a powerful foe.

Certain lore items reveal that after being purified, some heroes’ remains are offered to the boss. It blocks out the sun with its colossal wingspan and devours these remains. This could be how it has become so large, filled with so many souls.

The Storm Beasts were actually worshipped by a culture known as the Shadowmen. Now long dead. These people believed that the creatures brought forth the rain, which is important to all cultures.

Just inside the arena where you face the boss is a pile of dead Storm Beasts. It’s thought that this shows that the souls of these creatures are being used to lure in Shadow Lurkers and create Skeletons.

It’s well known that you can only obtain Cloudstones from Storm Beasts. This green ore blunts magic and blocks light. It’s not known whether this is a part of the anatomy of these creatures, or something that is consumed from the sky itself.

The Storm King and Storm Beasts all look like flying stingrays. It’s not known why this is, but the creature design is certainly unique among most of Demon’s souls’ offerings. While many believe this boss is a tough one to fight, speedrunners actually prefer to take it on as soon as possible.

This is because the boss has a predictable movement pattern, and the weapon to kill it is already here in the arena. This avoids any need to bring weapons or level up certain skills. The runner just has to get into the arena and let the sword do the rest.

Closing Notes

Out of every Demon’s Soul boss, many players would call this the easiest. As we mentioned, the movement is predictable, and the weapon is right here. As with all bosses though, how easy it is to kill is subjective to your ability in the game. If you’re not as skilled in one area, it may challenge you. However, you may also find it a breeze. Within Hollow Knight, there are many bosses. Some of them are both standard enemies and bosses. When this happens, the boss is usually a lot tougher. It has a lot more health and can deal more damage to you than its standard form. The thing about this particular creature is that it become aggressive if it can’t socialize with its own kind. That’s why you have to fight it. In this Hollow Knight Brooding Mawlek guide, we’ll cover how to kill this enemy when you face it.

What is Brooding Mawlek?

hollow knight brooding mawlek

This boss is actually a secret boss in Hollow Knight. It’s also a mini-boss within the Colosseum of Fools. You can come across one of them in the Forgotten Crossroads. This is far from any of its brethren in the world in the Ancient Basin. While it’s sat there, it’s calling for the fossilized forms of its friends around it to mate. None of them will move though. Infection and loneliness have driven this creature mad. Watch out, because it’ll leap into the arena as soon as you enter it, and explode with infection as soon as it’s dead.

Attacks and Strategies

attacks and strategies

Hollow Knight Brooding Mawlek has a much more limited moveset than others, like those in Dead Cells, but it’s still a lethal foe to battle against.

Slash

The boss will use either of its claws to slash down and attack you. This can come from either claw, so expect any one of them to appear and hit you. The boss will only use this attack if you get too close to it though. It’ll probably use it in conjunction with the Spit attack. If you want to avoid it, you need to stay away from it and keep your distance. That’s really the best way to avoid it.

Spit

The boss will spit orbs of infection in arcs towards you. It’ll be skittering across the ground it does this. IF you see if skittering towards you or away from you, then it could well be doing this move and about to be spitting infection. These blobs will fly towards you. It doesn’t matter what side of the arena you’re on. They’ll always be aimed at you. The boss will spit three or four times and can use it in conjunction with Slash. Bear in mind that the boss is going to use this attack before a Leap or Vomit move. Watch out for what comes next.

Leap

This one is pretty simple. The boss is going to jump into the air, leap if you will, to your location. It’ll always be aiming at where you’re standing. This applies to the moment that the boss jumps because it won’t aim at your location from that point. It’s aiming at where you were when it jumped. Once it lands, it’ll immediately jump back towards the position it was before the leap. To avoid the attack, you need to get underneath it and avoid it. But make sure that you do the same for the returning leap as well.

Vomit

This move is similar to Spit. The boss fires out blobs of infection at you and will shoot those in an arc. They’ll shoot up and over to land on you and hurt you. The blobs will be fire towards whatever side of the arena you’re on. They’re going to deal damage as soon as they hit you, so avoid them like the plague. The boss will stand still while the blobs are in the air, so you can get some decent hits in while they’re flying.

Best Strategy

brooding mawlek hollow knight

If you have the Mark of Pride and Longnail charms, then you can hit the boss without it retaliating. This is a good loadout that will really help you blast through this boss like it’s paper. (https://halcyonliving.co.uk/) the best tactic is to get a few hits in and then back away before it retaliates you. When you see a claw go up, back off and avoid whatever is coming your way. If you’re good, you can jump and nail bounce over the claw and avoid more damage.

When it comes to the Leap, just run to the area with space. You need to get away from the boss and avoid all of that incoming damage. This is something that you can do pretty easily, you just need to be careful and quick about how you move. The boss can’t do anything else while it’s in the air, so you can get in close and deal damage to it while it’s leaping.

If you’ve got Baldur Shell and Cyclone Slash Nail Art, then you can use the edge of Cyclone Slash to deal damage to the boss. You can then use the SOUL you gain from it to heal inside of the Baldur Shell. Whilst using this you can also continue healing while the boss attempts to attack you. You’ll incur no damage though.

Using the Mothwing Cloak during the Vomit attack from the Hollow Knight Brooding Mawlek will allow you to get close before it hits you. Some safe spots exist between the blobs it fires, but you can get close and damage it anyway using this method.

Hollow Knight Brooding Mawlek Lore

There really isn’t much lore surrounding this boss other than what we’ve covered. It’s part of a race that’s basically dead. Taken by the infection that’s been hitting everything in this world. It’s quite sad to think about really. All that’s left of this race are beings that are infected. They don’t understand what’s going on, only that their kin are all dead. That’s probably why this boss is a secret in one area, and a mini-boss in the colosseum. It’s an endangered species that’s being treated like a circus animal. This is why you face it though because it’s an example of what eventually happens to all races in this world. When the infection spreads to somewhere, it completely destroys all the races that live there. It only adds to the world of Hollow Knight and makes it so much more engrossing.

Story

As with all single-player games, you’re going to pick up a good chunk of the trophies by playing through the story alone. There are fourteen sequences to work through, and a lot of content to play through. Don’t rush it. Instead, take your time and enjoy the story. You will almost certainly pick up some of the random trophies in this list as well, but what we’ll list below are the ones you’re guaranteed to get. As a heads up for later, focus your efforts on getting the Fly Swatter trophy in Sequence 8. It’s the best part of the game to pick it up in. You should also avoid grabbing any feathers until later on. You’ll just get confused when you have to grab them all and you don’t know which ones you’ve missed.

Strongholds and Purchasables

Part of collecting in this game is taking on Strongholds and buying everything you possibly can. The items you buy are added to your base and count towards the amount you earn in the game. It’s well-worth grabbing these early on so you can enhance your home and make even more money by the end of the game. It’ll certainly help in the late game stages.

They don’t really fit into any other category, though you can certainly pick them up at any point that you’re playing. Try to get a couple of them done each time you play so that the end of the game isn’t a needless slog for you.

Red Dead Online is a colossal MMO that’s built to be enjoyed by millions. There’s a huge world to find your feet in and conquer, but you never really feel like you master it. Now, Rockstar Games has expanded the game with Red Dead Online Blood Money. This is the big summer update for 2021. It adds a lot of new content to the title, though it’s not always obvious how you access and make the most of it. That’s why we’ve put together this beginner’s guide for it. If you have any questions, we’re sure they’re answered here.

How to Start Blood Money Missions

Blood Money content is locked behind a very simple task. Once you load into the game, you need to open your satchel and read the “Letter from “M”” item. This has been added with the expansion, so everyone will have it. Once you’ve read it, you’ll be given. new waypoint on your map to visit. This is important because it’s how you unlock all the new content in Blood Money. (https://www.creditcadabra.com/) Follow the waypoint to the far-right of the map in Saint Dennis. There, you’ll meet with the major new NPC for this expansion. He’ll have a short conversation with you. After that, there will be Blood Money vendors all over the map. You can visit them for missions and unlock a lot more by smashing as many as you can.

Why Play Crimes?

Red Dead Online Blood Money

Crimes are the new activity that’s been added with Red Dead Online Blood Money. They’re a new form of mission, but they’re also very specific. These are the only missions in which you can earn Capitale. This is a new currency that’s used to unlock access to much more challenging missions in the game. You need to grind out a significant number of Crimes before you’re even close to playing these more difficult missions. That’s no problem though because all of the new Crimes are a joy to play. Some are straightforward missions with a single goal. However, there are others that have three parts to them. These are the best Crimes, and you should try to complete as many of them as possible. They’ll have timers between certain parts, but it’s worth coming back as often as you can to complete more.

How to Earn Capitale

how to earn capitale

There are a few ways to earn Capitale in the expansion now. Crimes are the best way to earn Capitale. You’ll get a certain amount for completing them, so you can grind for Capitale through them. Within each Crime you can also loot the enemies you come across. These enemies will often have a few Capitale on them. It’s important to look for lockboxes as well, since these can have Capitale stashes. You’ll only find Capitale when looting within Crimes. You won’t come across it elsewhere.

The final way in which you can earn Capitale is by stealing it. If you see other players on the map, try to find out where their camp is. If you locate it, you might be able to steal from them. You’ll have to be crafty though because this isn’t always as easy as you think it’ll be. Playing against other real-life people is much more difficult than killing in-game NPCs.

Quick Draw Club

quick draw club

The Quick Draw Club is a new type of season pass that Rockstar Games has added to the game. It’s a shorter version of the game’s last season pass, with only 25 ranks. It costs 25 Gold Bars, but you’re guaranteed to earn 25 Gold Bars from it. This is similar to how the season pass works in Fortnite, with players guaranteed to earn back their investment if they complete the pass. Another season pass will come in August, so this is just the first of a four-part Quick Draw Club pass. We’ve been playing with it and feel that it’s worth it. There are some nice buffs and cosmetics on offer, and the feeling that you’ve not wasted your money is always nice. Whether you pick it up or not is down to you though.

Hired Gun Kit

The Hired Gun Kit is a new item that you can buy with Gold Bars in the game. It contains a bunch of helpful items that will help you get started in Red Dead Online. This is designed for players who haven’t been playing the game for very long and want a helping hand. You won’t find anything that’ll make you better than other players here. What you will find are some nice cosmetics, ammo, and healing items that will give you a step up in the world. Otherwise, you’ll be starting with literally nothing, and that can be very difficult.

Try Everything

There’s a lot to do in the world of Red Dead Redemption besides the Blood Money content. This is a huge open-world like that of Assassin’s Creed. It’s got a lot to offer, and just because this new update is out, you shouldn’t try to avoid everything else in the game. There are story missions to work through, multiplayer events, world events, and loads of side content too. The Strangers are particularly interesting if you enjoy random encounters.

This is a game that you could easily get stuck into for months. All you need to do is ensure that you’re not neglecting the rest of the content on offer. The Blood Money content is new and fresh, sure, but there’s so much else out there for you to see and do. Rockstar Games has put a lot of effort into crafting a world for players to enjoy. It’s extremely stable and capable of supporting dozens of players on a single world.

If you like teaming up with other players, this is also a fantastic opportunity to make the most of that style of gameplay. As a group, you can take on loads of missions and ruin the world around you. It’s a great way to waste away an evening. You never know, you might even end up making friends along the way.

When playing Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, your main goal is to find and kill Chaos. While that might seem simple when I put it like that but actually doing it is a bit complicated. There are plenty of game mechanics and systems that you need to know about in order to progress the game and those can get pretty overwhelming for new players. In this Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin beginner’s guide, we are going to give you some tips and tricks that should help you get started.

Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Tips And Tricks

The following are some of the tips and tricks that we recommend you keep in mind when playing Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin:

You Can Change The Difficulty

Unlike souls games, you can change the difficulty in Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. So you can increase this if you do not find the game too challenging, or turn this down a notch if you are finding it too hard.

Complete The Tutorial And Side Missions

The tutorials are going to teach you the basics. We recommend doing the side missions in order to level up. If you skip these and just do the main missions then you will soon find that you are not powerful enough to progress ahead.

Beating The Cactuar Can Be Rewarding

Beating The Cactuar Can Be Rewarding

Each mission has a Cactuar hidden in one of the side rooms. Killing these will help you get XP. These enemies can be deadly and they can use the 1,000 Needles to take you down but they prefer to run away rather than fight so chances are that is not going to happen.

Unlock The White Mage Job

White Mage Job

We recommend leveling up the mage as much as possible in order to unlock the White Mage job. This has the ability to heal which comes in handy in any RPG party. The more ways to heal the better.

Use The Soul Shield To Mimic Enemy Moves

You can use the Soul Shield to use enemy abilities against them. This can be very effective in combat. For example, you can use the Soul Shield to use the stone attacks that Goblins use. (https://www.creditcadabra.com) You can even store moves that you have stolen and use them later on.

Interact With Cubes

The cubes that you encounter act like checkpoints. Interact with them to respawn at them when you die. You can also use them to save your progress. On the downside, doing this is going to respawn enemies as well.

The Tonberry Drops High-Level Loot

Each mission has a Tonberry that you can take on. This boss is harder to beat than the Cactuar but it does drop better loot.

It has moves that can kill you in a single strike so beware of that. You will also encounter the Master Tonberry that gives even better drops.

Dismantle Gear

As you progress the game, your inventory is going to fill up with gear. Some of it you will want to use while other pieces are not going to be worth it.

We recommend dismantling items you do not want to use in order to get materials that you can use to upgrade the gear you like.

Let Your Party Take The Damage

The game ends when Jack dies but Ash, Jed, and the rest of the party can be revived by using potions. So let them take most of the damage and stay out of harm’s way when possible.

This will allow you to take on different enemies, defeat weakened enemies, or attack from a distance.

These are the tips and tricks that you should keep in mind when playing Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.

The Magnamalo is a fanged wyvern monster that you inflict the hellfire blight ailment on. This is pretty nasty to deal with. In this Monster Hunter Rise guide, we are going to walk you through how you can beat the Magnamalo.

Before you take on the monster, we recommend crafting armor from one of the four-star monsters and upgrade it. You should also craft a decent water element weapon. You should also have Deodorant to get rid of the effects of the hellfire blight. Carrying some bombs is also something that you should look into as they can come in handy.

How To Beat The Magnamalo In Monster Hunter Rise

Before taking on this monster we recommend heading over to the canteen and then getting Dango Defender, Dango Medic, and Dango Weakener. This will increase your stats and help you survive. The hellfire blight is the main thing that you need to look out for. When the monster poises its tail at you, you need to use the Wirebug and move in to attack the boss. The weakest spots of the monster are its forearms, this is where you should focus your attacks in order to deal the most damage.

Once you have done enough damage, the monster will move to area 12. As the fight progresses the Magnamalo will start to inflict hellfire blight in the area around you. You need to dodge this. When the boss attacks you with its tail, you should use the Wirebug to quickly move out of the way.

After a while, the monster will become enraged and you will see purple flames coming out of its back and forearms. Be patient and wait for an opening to attack. You will need to dodge and if you get caught in the blight, you should use the Wirebug or deodorant.

Alternatively, you can use a bomb and wait for the monster to come to you. Once ready, you can use your weapon to detonate the bomb. (hitechwork.com) This way, you can use the hellfire blight against the monster. Keep attacking the tail and forearms of the monster to drain its health.

This is how you can beat the Magnamalo in Monster Hunter Rise. To learn more about the game, check out our guide on beating a Royal Ludroth.

There are many different items to find, grow and craft in Stardew Valley. Some items can be pretty beneficial and game-changing, and others not as much, yet still retain their respective benefits.

Maple syrup is an item that comes in the category of sap. It can be used simply as a consumable due to its energy and health boost properties.

It is required for completing the community center and can be used to craft one significant item. Now let’s find out how you can get your hands on some Maple Syrup in Stardew Valley.

How to Get Maple Syrup in Stardew Valley

Requirements

You will need the following two items in order to acquire maple syrup:

  • Maple tree
  • Tapper

Your character also needs to be at least foraging level 3.

Procedure

Maple Syrup
  1. A maple tree can be found on the farm and in town. As shown above, it looks similar to oak trees which are comparatively leafier than maple trees.
  • If you wish to plant them nearby, you can use maple seeds which can be obtained by shaking other maple trees.
  • They can also be dug up next to other trees if you need them to grow in another location.
  • This is done via the pick axe or axe.
  • It should be mentioned, however, that seeds only drop if you are at least foraging level 1.
Tapper
via The Gamer
  1. Next up, you will need a tapper to extract the maple syrup from a maple tree.
  • This item can only be crafted if your foraging is at least level 3.
  • To craft it, you need 40 wood and two copper bars.
  • Copper bars can be acquired by smelting copper ore in a furnace.
  • Copper ore can be found easily on floors (2-39) since they have a higher concentration of copper ore relative to other floors.
  1. Once you have successfully crafted a tapper, simply place it on a maple tree and wait for it to produce the sap; maple syrup.
  • The tapper can also be placed on other trees for their respective sap as well. All sap needs a different amount of time to produce.
  • The maple syrup requires explicitly nine days to get ready to be collected.

Heavy Tapper

The Stardew Valley patch 1.5 introduces a helpful item called the heavy tapper. This halves the production time of every sap. This is, however, an incredibly late-game item for obvious reasons. (ambien)

To acquire this, players must have access to Ginger Island and must have collected at least 100 golden walnuts. This allows the player to access a room with an NPC called Mr. Qi, who rewards the player with Qi gems for completing his quests.

The player can then purchase the heavy tapper recipe for 20 gems using 20 Qi gems.

Conclusion

To summarise, maple syrup can be obtained by tapping maple trees. It can also occasionally be obtained after processing hardwood in a wood chipper.

Maple syrup, as mentioned in the intro, is used to obtain the Chef’s Bundle and the Exotic Foraging Bundle in the community center. It is also required to craft a bee house for forming honey.

One thing to note is that maple syrup is labeled as “Artisan Goods”, but it does not benefit from the artisan profession. Instead, it benefits from the tapper profession with a +25% sell price.

All in all, maple syrup is not an item necessary for progressing in the game, but it never hurts to have a maple bar or two in your back pocket to boost your skills.

Hopefully, now you know how to get Maple Syrup in Stardew Valley. Stay tuned for more informative and interesting guides.

Molly is a lesser-known Villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but she’s no less lovely or important to those who want her on their island. She first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so she’s only actually been in a couple of games in the franchise. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Molly Villager Guide we’ll cover everything there is to know about this Villager. If you want her on your island, you may want to pay attention to this.

Who is Molly?

Molly is a duck Villager. Her catchphrase is a reference to the fact that ducks quack, which is pretty on the nose. Even for this series. Her Japanese name, Kamo, is a reference to a Japanese cuisine that uses wild duck in it. Not the most sensitive way to introduce a character to the world.

This Villager resembles a mallard almost exactly. If it weren’t for her pink blushing cheeks, you might mistake her for wildlife. She generally wears a bright green dress, which helps her stand out from the crowd on your island. (teachworkoutlove.com)

Birthday

Image Source: The Bell Tree Forums

Molly’s birthday is March 7. You should definitely pop by and see her in her house on this day. She’ll be waiting around for you and other Villagers to come and celebrate with her. you might get some cake out of it, and further down the line it will help your relationship with her blossom.

Molly’s Personality

This is another Villager with the normal personality, like Lolly. This means that she’ll spend a lot of time talking about another Villager called Moppina. We know that this is actually a mop though. Very strange. As a normal Villager, she’ll get on well with peppy, smug, lazy, normal, and snooty Villagers. She’s going to rub cranky and sisterly Villagers up the wrong way though. If you’ve got a few of those, maybe reconsider having Molly on your island.

Molly’s House

Image Source: The Bell Tree Forums

Molly is a normal Villager, which generally means that her house is going to be pretty normal as well. I’m pleased to report that this is indeed the case. You can look at it and enjoy the feeling that it exudes. It’s inoffensive and should go with anything else you have on your island too.

Moving inside there’s also nothing offensive to the eyes here. Molly is a Villager with taste. She’s got books, a nice couch, a yellow music stand, a lovely carpet, and a tasteful bed arrangement. You’ll actually enjoy spending time in here, but you don’t want to linger too long. There are way more important things to do out on your island.

Facts About Molly

As you can see, most players agree that Molly is cute. She’s got a great selection of clothes, and everything she does is generally adorable. If you’re picking up loads of cute Villagers, I highly suggest you pull her in as well.

That’s it for our Animal Crossing: New Horizons Molly Villager Guide. If you’ve got Molly on your island, let us know in the comments.
